TIPSA's ceiling mounted air diffusers are industrial type units designed to work at any range of temperatures. The fixed angle fan allows the unit to handle the exact volume of air for efficient operation on special applications in pre-cooling systems. This equipment is available for operation on pumped ammonia systems, flooded systems or direct expansion systems.
Construction specifications.
Coils.
The coils are constructed of 3/4", 40 schedule tubing, and No.26 steel sheet metal spiral blades (4 blades per inch). The coils are tested at 300 psi. after being manufactured, and once again after the galvanization process. The tubes are evenly distributed with a maximum of 6 rows in the airflow direction, requiring less energy of the fans and providing a larger heat transfer surface area.
Fans and Motors.
Every fan consists of 7 high-tension aluminum blades. The fixed angle of the blade provides the necessary static pressure and airflow volume for precise operation. The three-phased motors are individually water sealed with epoxy resin coils and operate at 220 or 440 volts.
Flooded System Operation.
These coils are designed to work with low gas flow and a minimum pumping system height
Pumped Ammonia Operation.
The coils design creates an even refrigerant flow providing maximum efficiency.
Defrosting System.
The defrost system works with either hot gas or fresh water, depending on the specific application.
Case.
The case can be made of either No. 16 galvanized steel sheet metal or No.18 stainless steel sheet metal, depending on customer's needs.
