TIPSA's Baudelot Water Chiller is a core component in systems that require product pre-cooling or air conditioning by low temperature soft water.
Construction specifications.
Casing.
The case is built with type 304-2B, 20 caliber stainless steel sheet metal, or galvanized 16 caliber steel sheet metal, covered with polished white fiber glass sheets. The interior is lined with 2" Foamular polystyrene thermal isolation plates. The top is built with removable thermally isolated stainless steel hatchways to facilitate the inspection of the internal equipment.
Tray.
The tray consists of either 3/16" black sheet metal, or 1/8" stainless steel sheet metal, depending on customer needs. The black sheet tray is covered with Amerlock 400 epoxy anti-corrosive paint.
Coils.
The coils are made with 3/4" HYLSA 40 schedule tube. They are assembled and welded according to size and capacity needed. Tube arrangement is designed to ease the cleaning of sediments caused by water containing minerals and chemical agents. Coils are tested under heavy quality norms, at 300 psi pneumatic pressure to assure hermetic sealing; once tested they're deep hot galvanized and retested at 300 psi.
Sprayers.
The sprayers are designed to maintain a uniform water distribution over the coil surface, obtaining maximum heat transfer efficiency.
Flooding Operation.
It has TIPSA's horizontal container and a refrigerant level control system, for automatic operation.
Recirculating Operation.
The coil has a sprayer system that mimimizes the recirculated liquid volume needed for cooling.
